Man breaks into Overbrook home, robs woman inside at knifepoint, police say
A woman was attacked and robbed at knifepoint after a man broke into a home in West Philly’s Overbrook section on Sunday, police said.
According to police, the incident happened at about 10:50 p.m. on Sunday when a 31-year-old woman claims a man wearing all black entered her property along the 1200 block of Marlyn Road through a rear door.
Once inside, police claim the man produced a knife and threatened the woman before stealing her cell phone.
The suspected attacker, officials said, then fled the scene in a white Honda.
The woman was not injured and, officials said, an investigation into this incident is ongoing.
