Man, 19, arrested in robbery of Tekashi 6ix9ine's home, false imprisonment of mom
A 19-year-old man has been arrested in the burglary of rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Florida home, where armed men also allegedly held the artist’s mother outside.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived at the home on Nov. 16 and spoke to people inside who said armed men wearing masks entered the home.
Deputies said that Tekashi’s mother was physically held outside while the suspects ran into the home, ransacked it, and asked for money and car keys.
Now, Pedro Rodriguez is facing charges.

According to authorities, Rodriguez was one of the three masked men, two of whom were armed, seen on surveillance cameras entering the house and making contact with the rapper’s mother in the kitchen.
Video showed how one suspect stayed with her while the other two rummaged through the house, before they swapped roles, according to an arrest report. Eventually, they went outside with the victim and started looking through a 2024 Mercedes Sprinter van and the garage, appearing to take small bags or purses.
Noticing that the men were distracted, the victim banged on the door of the mother-in-law suite and called for help. The suspects took off when the victim’s other son let her inside and called 911.
The sheriff’s office said they were able to use cellphone data to trace Rodriguez’s phone to the area of the incident.
When they went to his residence to conduct surveillance, they saw him wearing similar clothes to the suspects in the surveillance footage and obtained a search warrant.
When they searched the home, authorities found dozens of boxes containing THC disposable vapes, marijuana, a semiautomatic pistol and ammunition that matched the one used during the home invasion, and three designer purses.
Tekashi’s girlfriend later confirmed that all three bags belonged to her.
Rodriguez was charged with home invasion robbery with a firearm, false imprisonment, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and grand theft between $20,000 and $100,000.
