Macron backs bill: France plans social media ban for under-15s; draft law cites screen time risks
France is preparing a legislative push to curb excessive screen time, proposing a ban on social media for children under 15 by next September. The draft law, backed by President Macron, also includes a ban on mobile phones in secondary schools. This initiative follows similar moves by Australia and aims to protect minors from inappropriate content and cyber-harassment.
