Lego Code Break activation coming to San Diego during TwitchCon

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The Gaslamp Quarter is coming alive with activations for TwitchCon, including an immersive adventure built specifically for Lego fans.
TwitchCon is a gathering of gaming fandoms that draws thousands of attendees to the San Diego Convention Center each year. This year's convention runs from Friday through Sunday.
As part of the weekend-long convention, players will be invited to take part in the Lego Code Break activation in the Gaslamp Quarter. It blends virtual and real-world play rooted in the gaming community's beloved universes, including Minecraft, Fortnite and Sonic the Hedgehog.
New clues will drop online each day, leading to a letter, number or symbol used in the secret code. Players can then use the code to unlock a vault filled with prizes. To participate in the adventure, visit Lego's website here.
Fans can also visit the Lego Code Break experience in the Gaslamp Quarter and inspect the vault for themselves.
Other activities include building a mini Lego gaming controller that fans can take home, seeing a collection of Lego sets and posing for photos with iconic video game characters built out of Lego bricks.
The on-site experience is open to the public from noon to 8 p.m. until Saturday, Oct. 18.
