Juvenile hurt after stray bullet goes through window of Lauderhill home
A juvenile was hospitalized after a stray bullet bullet went through the window of a Lauderhill home on Saturday night, police said.
The shooting happened shortly after 7 p.m. near the 2400 block of Northwest 55th Terrace.
Lauderhill Police said officers arrived and found the juvenile inside the home suffering from injuries caused by broken glass.
It appeared the juvenile was in the home when a stray bullet entered the home, shattering the glass, police said.
The juvenile was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said the motive for the shooting was unknown and there were no known suspects.
An investigation was ongoing.
