Infrastructure upgrades could hike water bills by 40% in St. Louis
St. Louis city leaders say the city's water division faces a financial crisis due to aging infrastructure, potentially leading to significantly higher water bills for residents. This comes as the Youth and Family Center in North St. Louis is already experiencing costly consequences from the failing system after two recent water main breaks flooded portions of its building.
