Formula E comes to Hard Rock Stadium for 1st time: What to know about Miami E-Prix 2026
Speed, thrills, and electric power hit South Florida this weekend as the Formula E World Championship returns for the Miami E-Prix, round three of the 2025–26 season.
Fans can see the world’s top all-electric race cars in action, plus enjoy fan festival activities, simulators, live music, food, and more.
Here’s what to know.
What is Formula E Miami E-Prix?
Formula E is an all-electric racing series that bills itself as “the world’s most sustainable motorsport.”
The race “has grown into a global motorsport platform, supported by leading automotive manufacturers and recognized for its commitment to pushing the boundaries of performance and environmental responsibility,” officials said in a news release.
Home teams Andretti, CUPRA Kiro, and DS PENSKE are set to compete.
Where and when is the Formula E Miami E-Prix?
The race is spread out over two days, Friday, Jan. 30 and Saturday, Jan. 31, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
Friday events:
- Rookie Free Practice: 14:30 – 15:10
- Free Practice 1: 17:00 – 17:55
Saturday events:
- Free Practice 2: 07:30 – 08:25
- Qualifying: 09:40 – 10:48
- Race: 14:05 – 15:00
And here’s another fun fact. Officials says that although the series has raced twice before in the Sunshine State, this will be the first time an E-Prix has been hosted at the iconic Miami International Autodrome.
Can I still get tickets to the Formula E Miami E-Prix?
Yes! There are still tickets available to watch the race.
Options include:
- tickets to watch the race from the main grandstand for $81 per adult and $31 per child.
- tickets to watch the race from the trackside terrace for $159.
- tickets to the Formula E Fan Village for $40 per adult or $12 per child.
Note: Tickets to the Formula E Fan Village do not include a view of the track. At the fan village, you can watch the race on TVs with live commentary and attend an exclusive performance by Farruko. The other tickets include access to the fan village.

Farruko, a two-time Latin Grammy Award winner and Grammy-nominated Puerto Rican artist, will headline at the 2026 Miami E-Prix.
