Fire tears through building in Penns Grove, New Jersey
Fire officials in New Jersey were busy overnight as a building located in Penns Grove was gutted by a fire.
According to officials, the incident happened around 2 a.m. when crews were dispatched to a fire that was tearing through a building located along the 100 block of South Smith Avenue in Penns Grove, New Jersey.
Here, a building that appeared to be vacant — a property search showed no owner for the specific address where the fire occurred — was seemingly destroyed by flames.
Officials did not immediately say if anyone was hurt in this incident, nor did they say what may have started the fire.
But, officials said, an investigation is ongoing.
