Extreme Heat Warning begins Mother's Day morning in the desert
Temperatures are expected to rise to more than 10 degrees above average in some communities across San Diego County, with an Excessive Heat Warning in effect from 10 a.m. to Monday at 8 a.m. in the desert, and Palomar Mountain and Borrego could break records.
