Expecting a warmer weekend

A frost advisory will be in effect from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday morning for Erie, Chautauqua, Orleans, Niagara, and Genesee counties.

High temperatures will top out in the mid-50s. Tonight will start clear, but clouds will increase through the overnight hours. There could be a few sprinkles by Friday morning.

The weekend will be warmer with temperatures reaching the 70s. Saturday will be the driest day of the weekend. Rain returns on Sunday, with the heaviest rain arriving in the afternoon and continuing into Monday.
