Diplo's Run Club San Diego: Join the DJ for a 5K run and party
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/ KUSI) -- Diplo is bringing his run club to San Diego for a packed morning that ends with DJ sets at Petco Park.
American DJ and music producer Diplo will be in San Diego on Saturday to bring his Run Club to the streets of downtown San Diego for the first-time ever, complete with DJ sets and partner activations.
Tickets are nearly sold out for Diplo's Run Club San Diego 5K on Saturday, Nov. 8.
Participants can run alongside Diplo on the 5K course that starts in the Gaslamp Quarter at J and 14th streets at 9 a.m. Check-in opens at 7 a.m. and a DJ will start playing tunes at the start line at 8 a.m.
There will also be entertainment on the course and runners will have speaker backpacks. Diplo will be running with the crowd and will most likely be at the front, a spokesperson told Heather Lake live on FOX 5 Morning News. Watch in the video above.
Following the race, DJ Vice performs at 10 a.m., followed by Diplo at 11 a.m. on the main stage in Gallagher Square at Petco Park.

Runners can pick up their packets from noon to 6 p.m. on Friday.
Public transportation is encouraged as downtown parking can be limited.
Military personnel and first responders can save up to 15% on tickets.
Diplo's Run Club is open to all ages. Runners two years old and older need a ticket.
This year, Diplo's Run Club hit Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York, and will next head to Miami and Phoenix in January. Save Diplo's Run Club playlist on Spotify for your run!
