Did you feel it? Earthquake rattles Borrego Springs
 
                                SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A 3.0 magnitude earthquake shook parts of northeast San Diego County shortly after 8 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Coordinates show the quake struck about 6 miles north of Borrego Springs, with a depth of about 7.5 miles.

Southern California residents reported feeling weak to light shaking as far north as Palm Springs, according to the survey’s Did You Feel It? map. Shaking was also reported as far west as Dana Point, with additional reports coming directly from the Borrego Springs area.
There are no reports of injuries or damage in connection to this earthquake.
Southern California regularly detects earthquakes in the lower magnitudes, with most of these not generating strong enough shaking to be felt at the surface.
