Death of 2-year-old in Philly under investigation, police say
Philadelphia police are investigating after a two-year-old died after being found not breathing on Sunday morning.
First responders were initially called to a home at around 4:49 a.m. at the 2100 block of Titan Street in the Point Breeze neighborhood of Philadelphia for a child unable to breathe, police said.
Upon arrival, medics began CPR and then transported the two-year-old to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where they were pronounced dead at 5:31 a.m., police said.
The cause of the child’s death is under investigation by the Philadelphia Police Department’s Special Victims Unit
