Crews respond after 40-foot boat catches fire off Miami Beach
Crews responded after a 40-foot boat caught fire off Miami Beach on Thursday.
Miami Beach Fire Rescue officials said crews responded and took everyone off the boat after it caught fire on the ocean side of 57th Street.
Video from Only in Dade showed the boat consumed by the fire as thick black smoke rose into the air.
Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed multiple fire boats working to extinguish the blaze.
There were no injuries and the fire was extinguished, officials said.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said they assisted in extinguishing the fire.
The cause of the fire was unknown and under investigation.
No other details were immediately available.
