Crash gridlocks traffic on I-5 southbound near weigh station

OCEANSIDE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A traffic collision prompted a full freeway closure on southbound Interstate 5, just south of the San Diego County Weigh Station, on Saturday morning, according to Caltrans.
The incident was first reported around 11:30 a.m. via a Sig Alert from California Highway Patrol.
Though little details about the crash have been released at this time, authorities noted that a disabled vehicle was stuck in the flow of traffic, blocking all southbound lanes.
In an update shortly before 1 p.m., Caltrans announced that all lanes have since reopened to motorists.
No further information was immediately provided, including if anyone was injured as a result of the collision.
