Coyote attacks person in Warwick Township, Chester County
A coyote attacked a person in Warwick Township, Chester County, over the weekend, officials revealed.
The incident occurred on Sunday, Dec. 28, on Warwick Furnace Road, according to the Chester County Health Department. Officials said the person who was attacked sought medical care. They did not reveal the person’s condition or the extent of their injuries.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission is helping to locate the coyote. Officials said they’re unsure at this time if the animal is rabid. They are also urging residents in the area to not attempt to catch or engage with the coyote.
