Cherry Hill Mall loses power, goes dark for half hour on Friday
The Cherry Hill Mall in South Jersey lost power on Friday leaving shoppers in the dark.
Shoppers reported that the lights went out inside the mall on Dec. 19 as whipping winds caused power outages throughout the Philadelphia region.
The power was restored and the lights came back on inside the mall after about 30 minutes, according to a mall spokesperson.
In videos shared on social media, the mall can be seen covered in darkness with a bright white light flashing.
No word yet on what caused the mall to lose power or if anyone was hurt.
