Charter boat captain busted with 50+ pounds of cocaine in South Florida: Border Patrol
Over 50 pounds of cocaine were seized during the arrest of a charter boat captain in South Florida, authorities said.
In addition to the cocaine, a vessel, a handgun and $8,000 in “illicit proceeds” were seized, U.S. Border Patrol Chief Michael W. Banks said in a social media post Monday.
Banks didn’t identify the captain but said they’re a U.S. citizen, who faces charges of cocaine possession with intent to distribute.
