Carvana launches same-day vehicle delivery in San Diego
(FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diegans can make a few clicks online to buy a vehicle and likely have it delivered to their driveway the same day.
Vehicle sales company Carvana, which specializes in online vehicle sales and home delivery, announced the same-day capabilities for the San Diego area starting on Tuesday.
"...With this launch, we’re proud to make the Carvana experience even faster and more convenient,” reads part of a statement from Jacqueline Hearns, Carvana’s senior director of market operations and expansion.
“Our powerful e-commerce platform and deep local infrastructure let us now offer San Diego-area buyers the opportunity to go from online checkout to driveway delivery in a matter of hours,” the statement continues.
The company allows users to browse thousands of vehicles online and review pictures and other details before handling the purchase on the same site, with the vehicle delivered to a customer's home.
The company also provides ways for customers to sell their vehicles to Carvana through an online appraisal process, which can also be done in a few hours.
