Bridge repairs close Aramingo Ave. ramp to I-95 at Bridge St. Interchange

A bridge repair and ramp construction project will close the Aramingo Avenue ramp at the Bridge Street Interchange to I-95 southbound starting Monday.

The closure, officials said, will last through Friday, Nov. 21, 2025.

Until then, motorists along that roadway will be directed to exit Aramingo Avenue at the Betsy Ross Bridge Interchange, to turn right onto Aramingo Avenue, then turn right onto Adams Avenue, before being able to turn right a final time onto the ramp for I-95 southbound.

Also in the area, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, PennDOT work will cause lane closures along I-95 — on both northbound and southbound lanes — between Allegheny Avenue and Cottman Avenue, officials said.

The work, PennDOT officials said in a statement, is part of an ongoing $355.3 million project intended to widen and reconstruct I-95 northbound between Wheatsheaf Lane to just north of Margaret Street.
