Boy jumps onto SEPTA bus after being stabbed in North Philly, officials say
A boy was rushed to the hospital by police after boarding a SEPTA bus while suffering from a stab wound on Friday, according to the transit agency.
The boy was stabbed near North 3rd Street and West Allegheny Avenue just before 1 p.m. on Jan. 16, officials said.
After the stabbing, the boy got onto a SEPTA bus and made it to two blocks to 5th and Allegheny where police were able to grab him and transport him to a nearby hospital, officials reported.
No word yet on if anyone else was hurt or what led to the stabbing.
