Box truck overturns, blocks traffic lanes on I-5 near SR-52
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A box truck overturned on southbound Interstate 5 near the transition to eastbound State Route 52 in San Diego Monday morning, blocking traffic lanes.
SigAlert shows the incident was reported shortly after 10:20 a.m.
According to a post by California Highway Patrol on X, traffic was expected to be impacted for the next two to three hours due to the overturned truck.
The number of occupants inside the vehicle, and whether there were any injuries reported, are unknown at this time.
The lanes reopened around 1:15 p.m., according to an update by CHP on X.
