Avelo Airlines to offer nonstop flights to Chicago, Atlanta starting in 2026

Avelo Airlines announced that it will start offering nonstop flights from Delaware to Chicago and to Atlanta starting in 2026.

The new nonstop routes will be offered from Wilmington Airport (ILG) to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and to Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).

Trips to ORD in Illinois will begin on March 12, 2026, with four flights each week happening on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The trips to ATL in Georgia will start on February, 12, 2026, with five flights each week happening on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Avelo Airlines makes nonstop flights from ILG to 16 places including:

  • Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FLL)
  • Fort Myers, Florida (RSW)
  • Jacksonville, Florida (JAX)
  • Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (MYR)
  • Nashville, Tennessee (BNA)
  • Orlando, Florida (MCO)
  • Lakeland / Orlando, Florida (LAL)
  • Raleigh / Durham, North Carolina (RDU)
  • San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU)
  • Sarasota / Bradenton, Florida (SRQ)
  • Tampa, Florida (TPA)
  • West Palm Beach, Florida (PBI)
  • Wilmington, North Carolina (ILM)
