Police said a 21-year-old man was struck in the face with a gun by a 19-year-old man. Then, a 36-year-old man, who was with the 21-year-old and licensed to carry, shot at the 19-year-old man.

The 19-year-old man was taken to the hospital and placed in custody, according to police.

Police said investigators found nine 9mm spent casings and two firearms from the scene.

Earlier, police reported that the shooting started over a noise complaint dispute. Two people were allegedly being loud outside the home, so the 19-year-old stepped out and asked them to keep it down, and that’s when he hit one of the men in the face with a gun, prompting the other man to start shooting.

Police said the Shooting Investigation Group is investigating this incident.
