'Active pursuit of dark fleet': US intensifies Venezuela blockade; third interception attempt in two weeks
US officials confirm the 'active pursuit' of a third oil tanker from Venezuela following the blockade implemented by US President Donald Trump for the "stolen US assets" in a broader attempt to pressure Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro's government. Since December 10, two Venezuelan vessels have been successfully intercepted by the US.
