A very windy Halloween to come
 
                                A wind advisory will be in effect for our entire region from 11 a.m. on Friday till 5 a.m. on Saturday.
A widespread band of moderate to heavy rain pushing northward across the region will become spottier for a period today, possibly increasing again across northern section later this afternoon and early evening. Another shot of chilly air triggers more showery weather Friday which could be steadier across the hills and near Lake Ontario for Halloween. There are some signs that it will start to taper later in the day into the evening. A few more localized bands of lake effect rain persist Saturday. Dry weather returns in time for the Bills game.
