3rd person dies from Bristol nursing home explosion, police say
A third person has died from the nursing home explosion that occurred in Bristol on Dec. 23, 2025, Bucks County officials said on Monday.
The victim has been identified as 66-year-old Patricia Mero, according to the Bristol Township Police Department.
Mero was initially taken to the hospital after suffering blunt force trauma to the chest on the day of the explosion and collapse, but has now succumbed to her injuries.
Her exact cause of death has yet to be determined by the coroner, police said.
The third death from the nursing home explosion comes as the NTSB continues its investigation into the incident, which left two others killed and nearly two dozen others hurt.
