2 women arrested in sex trafficking of teen with autism in Broward: Sheriff

A woman accused of running a prostitution “team” and her alleged “enforcer” are facing charges in connection with the sex trafficking of a 19-year-old with autism in Broward, authorities said.

The alleged ringleader, 24-year-old Sianna Negron, was arrested Wednesday on charges including coercing commercial sex activity for human trafficking, deriving support from the proceeds of prostitution, false imprisonment, battery and sexual cyberharassment, Broward jail records showed.

Her alleged accomplice, 20-year-old Shytavia Weaver, was arrested Dec. 11 on charges of false imprisonment for sexual exploitation and battery.

According to an arrest affidavit, the alleged victim, a 19-year-old autistic female, went to the Broward Sheriff’s Office in Dania Beach on April 28 to report that she’d been physically attacked and forced into prostitution while staying at a hotel.

The victim said she learned about Negron through her best friend Weaver and contacted Negron through Instagram, the affidavit said.

She said Negron picked her up and took her to the hotel, where Negron was already engaging in prostitution with two other females named Xandria and Ten, the affidavit said.

The victim said Negron led the group of five women, booking hotel rooms for them to engage in prostitution and taking the proceeds.

She said Negron was pleasant at first but then incited conflict within the group, saying Weaver was talking negatively about the victim, the affidavit said.

Negron then drove the victim and Weaver to a parking lot and insisted they fight each other, and recorded the fight and posted it on Facebook, the affidavit said.

After the parking lot fight, Weaver continued to “disparage” the victim, calling her slow in reference to her Autism, and at one point, Negron and Weaver physically attacked the victim in their hotel room while recording the incident and posting it to social media, the affidavit said.

During her time with the group, the victim said she was forced to have sex with about 10 men, and said said Negron would charge men $60, $80, or $100 depending on if it was a quick visit, 30-minute-or 1-hour session, the affidavit said.

Negron kept all the money and the victim was threatened with physical violence if she attempted to leave the hotel room, the affidavit said.

The victim also said her phone was lost or stolen after she joined the group.

The victim’s mother eventually saw the video of the fight that was posted on social media and began efforts to contact Weaver and Negron to locate her daughter.

Negron then forced the victim to call her mother and tell her she was fine, threatening the victim and instructing her on what to say, but the victim refused to lie to her mother, so Negron ended the call and dropped the victim off at a Tri-Rail station in Dania Beach, where she was recovered, the affidavit said.

Detectives reviewed the hotel incident video that showed Weaver pummeling the victim’s head repeatedly with her fists, the affidavit said.

In the video, Negron is seen dragging the victim, who is naked, off the bed by her hair, and the two continue to punch and kick her as she lays defenseless and nude on the floor, the affidavit said.

Another video showed Negron discussing and acknowledging the victim was diagnosed with Autism and was with her during the week the victim said she was held against her will, and showed Negron displaying the victim’s medical records and a sexually explicit video of the victim, the affidavit said.

Detectives also found online escort advertisements featuring Negron and a post that showed the victim in lingerie and appeared to have been taken for an escort advertisement, the affidavit said.

Investigators found messages between Negron and the victim in which they discussed the victim joining Negron’s “team” and Negron telling the victim she would have to give Negron her “trap,” which is slang for prostitution earnings, the affidavit said.

The affidavit said Weaver began working for Negron earlier in April and that Weaver “seemingly acted as an enforcer for Negron’s prostitution/human trafficking operation.”

Negron appeared in court Thursday where a judge ordered her held on a $172,500 bond. Weaver was being held on an $85,000 bond.
