Two Philadelphia men are accused of wearing girdles to hide stolen bottles of alcohol while robbing a liquor store several times in Bucks County, according to the Bensalem Police Department.

The robberies all happened at the Fine Wine and Good Spirits store located on the 2200 block of Galloway Road in Bensalem throughout the month of December, police said.

The first incident happened on Dec. 10 around 5:46 p.m. when officers were called to the store for reports of two suspects taking multiple bottles of tequila, concealing them and walking out of the store without paying, officials explained.

While reviewing surveillance cameras, investigators said that they saw the two men were dropped off and picked up by a dark green-colored Toyota Tundra with New Jersey license plates.

Then, around 5:20 p.m. on Dec. 19, police were called to the same store again for a reported theft, officials said.

Investigators learned that the suspects used the same method to take more bottles of alcohol and discovered that the same Toyota was in the area during the robbery, officials reported.

The third robbery happened just before 7 p.m. on Dec. 27 when a store manager saw the two men and called police, according to officials.

The officers who responded to the store found that the Toyota was parked nearby and were able to arrest the people inside the car, police said.

Officials explained that the men inside the car were seen wearing similar clothing to the suspects accused of robbing the liquor store and found several bottles of tequila inside the vehicle.

According to officials, the officers also found undergarments described as girdles that were seemingly used to hide the stolen bottles.

Bensalem police identified the two men as 44-year-old Willie Floyd Upson and 47-year-old Barry Ali Bailey, both of Philadelphia, as the suspects.

Both men are being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
