One person was killed after a fire fully engulfed two townhomes in Bristol Borough on Monday night.

SkyForce10 was over the scene to find at least a couple of dozen of firefighters working to put out the blaze on the 300 block of Doirance Street.

According to Bristol Police Chief Joseph Moors, said that first responders arrived at the scene at around 6 p.m. to find two of the homes were fully engulfed in flames.

“The power lines were sparking when we arrived,” Moors said. “That made it difficult for us to get through the front entrance.”

In addition to the one person who was killed, another neighbor was injured, Moors said.
