1 dead after fire on Rano St.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- One person is dead following a fire on Rano Street in Buffalo on Saturday, officials said.
Officials said that firefighters responded to a fire at 112 Rano St. around 6:20 p.m. One civilian died as a result of the fire, and one firefighter was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, officials said.
The fire caused an estimated $150,000 in damages to the building and $75,000 in damages to the building's contents, officials said, and it also caused an additional $10,000 in damage to two nearby properties.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
