1 dead, 1 injured after roommates shoot each other in North Miami Beach: Police
A man was killed, and his roommate was hurt after they shot each other in North Miami Beach early Sunday, authorities said.
The shooting happened near the 1300 block of Northeast 157th Street at around 1:44 a.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the two men with gunshot wounds.
One of the victims, a 45-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, a 31-year-old man, was transported to a hospital and is now in stable condition.
The deceased was identified as Samuel Dingle.
Details leading up to the shooting were not released.
Some neighbors in the area expressed their concerns.
“Usually I come from work late, like after 12 sometimes. Now I’m worried,” one man said.
No arrests were made as the investigation continues.
